Six in a row! Ceres I Launch Vehicle Officially Launches High Density Launch Deliveries

2023/07/22

At 13:07 on July 22, 2023, Galactic Energy successfully launched the Ceres I-Sichuan Ziyang Launch Vehicle (mission code: LEMON TREE) from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and successfully delivered the Qiankun No. 1 Ultra-Low Orbit (ULOLO) Technology Test Satellite and Tai'an No. 1 (StarTimes-16) Satellite to the predefined orbit accurately.

Ceres I (Remote Six) launch vehicle is the third of the ten mass-produced rockets in the S01 batch of Star River Power Space Corporation. The launch also marked the official start of StarHub's high-density launch delivery cycle for the second half of the year.

High-density launching is the inevitable way for a commercial rocket model to mature from development to maturity, and from laboratory products to assembly line industrial products, which comprehensively tests an enterprise's organizational ability, management ability, guarantee ability, technical ability, etc., and requires continuous innovation and change of the production organization mode. The high-density space launches conducted by the world's major spacefaring nations have suffered setbacks in the early days, but through the efforts of all aspects from rocket design and manufacturing to testing and maintenance, they have eventually achieved unprecedented launch capabilities and laid the foundation for the generalization, serialization and modularization of rocket technology later on, which ultimately led to the enhancement of the overall level of the launch vehicle industry.

As the first domestic private launch vehicle to initiate high-density launches, in the coming months, Galactic Energy will continue to move towards the goal of being more efficient, more reliable and safer, to satisfy the launch windows and orbital demands of different satellite customers with the sufficient launch capacity of the Ceres 1 launch vehicle, to accelerate the fulfillment of the closed loop of the satellite launch service, and to enhance the delivery capability of high-density launch fulfillment.

The first domestic ultra-low orbit test satellite "Qiankun No. 1" launched this time was developed by Seth Bess Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and equipped with test payloads such as hyperspectral imager, visible full-color camera, and image intelligent processor, which is used to verify the key technology of breakthrough ultra-low orbit flight and build an advanced air and space intelligent platform, which fills the application field of China's ultra-low orbit space technology. It is used to verify and break through the key technologies of ultra-low orbit flight and build an advanced space intelligence platform, filling the blank of China's ultra-low orbit space technology application field. The satellite Taian (Star Era-16) is a high-spectrum remote sensing satellite self-developed by Guoxing Aerospace, and it also carries the company's self-developed blockchain satellite payload, which will execute the world's first visualization blockchain on-orbit deposit and commercial services, and launch the world's first space digital life platform (interplanetary perpetual passenger), and other series of space computing content applications.

This is the sixth consecutive successful launch of Ceres 1. Up to now, Galactic Enery has served 12 commercial satellite customers and completed the in-orbit launch of 21 commercial satellites.

Thanks to Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ziyang Branch for providing support for this launch.
