4th straight win!The Ceres 1 rocket successfully launched five Gaofen-03D satellites to help the Jilin-1 constellation network

2022/11/16

At 14:20 on November 16, 2022, GALACTIC ENERGY AEROSPACE  successfully launched Ceres 1 (Yaosi) carrier rocket (mission code: YOUNG FOR YOU  from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully sending a total of 5 satellites of Gaofen 03D08, 51, 52, 53 and 54 of Jilin 1 constellation into the solar synchronous orbit.

This launch is the fourth consecutive successful launch of the Ceres 1 commercial rocket, and Sunhe Dynamic Space has maintained a 100% success rate, and has completed a total of 14 satellite launches for 7 satellite customers, once again breaking a new record for China's private commercial rocket launch delivery. At the same time, this is the first time for the domestic low-orbit constellation to use private commercial rockets for network launch, promoting the ecological and healthy development of the domestic commercial space industry, which is a milestone.

The Jilin I Gaofen-03D08, 51, 52, 53 and 54 satellites carried on the spacecraft are the third-generation optical remote sensing satellites independently developed and mass-produced by Changang Satellite Technology Co., LTD. The five Gaofen-03D satellites will be networked with Jilin I Gaofen-02D and Jilin I Gaofen-02F satellites. Remote sensing satellite images are provided to various users.

For the first time in this launch, GALACTIC ENERGY adopted a self-developed transfer launcher to carry out the transfer and launch tasks. This transfer launcher is equipped with functions such as ambient temperature control, mobile transfer field transportation and rapid vertical launch, which further reduces the requirements for pre-launch support in the launch area and greatly reduces the launch preparation time from 4 hours to 1 hour. It effectively solves the problems of long launch preparation time and low launch frequency, and provides strong ground support for the mass launch and delivery of Ceres I commercial rockets.

I would like to thank the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Beijing Municipal Government and other organs and departments for their guidance and help to GALACTIC ENERGY, and Changguang Satellite and other customers for their trust and support.
